He subsequently becomes a successful writer for TV series and films.<\/p>\n
Michel Fessler is credited with multiple participations as writer or co-writer for French and international feature and animation films. Three films he collaborated on have been nominated at the Oscars: FARINELLI, RIDICULE and LA MARCHE DE L\u2019EMPEREUR. The latter won the Oscar for Best Documentary.<\/p>\n
Today, he is an accomplished screenwriter who has written and\/or co-written more than thirty films of different genres.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”FILMOGRAPHY” font_container=”tag:h3|font_size:22px|text_align:center|line_height:42px” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”font-weight-bold m-b-none”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]THE WAY TO HAPPINESS <\/strong>| CO-DIRECTOR | 2021 Together with G\u00e9rard Valet, he directed the feature films CHINE <\/strong>(1971), and MOI, TINTIN <\/strong>(Selection Cannes Film Festival).<\/p>\n Expert A2 at the European Commission, he initiated, alongside Holde Lhoest, the PROGRAMME MEDIA. <\/strong>He is a member of the board of directors of the CIN\u00c9MATH\u00c8QUE ROYALE DE BELGIQUE.<\/strong><\/p>\n He was a member of the board of directors of the reading committee of FONSPA (FILM FUND LUXEMBOURG). <\/strong>For this contribution, he was awarded the \u201cm\u00e9daille de Chevalier d\u2019Ordre grand-ducal de la Couronne de Ch\u00eane\u201d (Order of the Oak Crown) for \u201chis contribution and activities in favour of the development of European and in particular Luxembourgish cinema\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n He was \u201ccharg\u00e9 de mission\u201d at the Belgian Ministry cabinet for French Culture (for the creation, alongside Henry Ingberg, of the Audiovisual Service \u2013 now Audiovisual Direction) and presided over the Selection Commission for films of the French Community. He was a teacher at the University of Li\u00e8ge, in charge of a course on the economy of cinema.<\/p>\n Between 2018 and 2019, Henri Roanne-Rosenblatt hosted conferences on the Kindertransporte entitled L\u2019EXODUS DES ENFANTS<\/strong> in schools and community centres in Washington, San Antonio (Texas), Eupen, Genval, Herbestal and Cologne in particular.<\/p>\n He is the author of two novels: LA VIE CACH\u00c9E DE TINTIN <\/strong>(Filipson \u00c9dition, 2005) and LE CIN\u00c9MA DE SA\u00dcL BIRNBAUM <\/strong>(Gen\u00e8se Edition, 2013).
